How to setup Push Permission Reminder?

Enable Feature

Go to Add-ons --> Integrations --> Push Permission Reminder & Enable it.

NOTE: Please create a new version of the App e.x. 1.0.2, if the current version does not support this feature. If the previous version is live on the stores, then request a new build and submit this new version to the stores.

Select Reminder UI Style

The Push Permission Reminder feature offers two UI styles: Alert Dialog and Bottom Sheet.

Alert Dialog

Displays as a centered popup, ideal for direct attention with options for header, title, description, and customizable buttons.

Bottom Sheet

Slides up from the bottom, providing a subtler reminder. It also includes customizable header, title, description, and action buttons.

These styles let you choose the layout that best fits your app’s design.

Reminder Scheduling

You can schedule the Push Permission Reminder based on app opens. For instance, setting 2, 5, 10, 20 displays the reminder on the user’s 2nd, 5th, 10th, and 20th app opens, helping reach users at key engagement points.

Header Image

The Header Image customization option lets you add a visual element at the top of the Push Permission Reminder. You can upload an image in .png, .jpg, or .jpeg format, and adjust its size to fit your app’s design.

  • Upload Header Image: Select an image file in the supported formats.

  • Height and Width: Set the dimensions (in pixels) for the header image to ensure it appears as desired.

Title

The Title customization option allows you to set a clear and compelling message for the Push Permission Reminder. You can customize the text, color, size, and weight to align with your app’s style.

  • Title Text: Enter a short title (up to 30 characters) to encourage users to enable notifications.

  • Text Style: Choose a predefined text style from your App Theme (e.g., Heading Medium, Label Small). Selecting Custom lets you manually adjust size, weight, and font style.

  • Font Size: Set the size of the title text in pixels to make it prominent or subtle.

  • Font Weight: Choose between Regular, Medium, or Bold to control emphasis.

  • Font Style: Select a custom font (e.g., Aladin, AlexBrush) to give the title a unique visual identity.

  • Color: Pick a theme-based or custom color using a hex value and opacity to match your branding.

Description

The Description field allows you to provide additional context or details about enabling notifications. You can customize the text, color, size, and weight to make it fit seamlessly with your app’s style.

  • Description Text: Enter a short message (up to 100 characters) explaining why users should enable notifications.

  • Text Style: Choose a predefined text style such as Body Small, Body Medium, or any custom style defined in your App Theme. This controls the overall typography for the description.

  • Color: Select a color for the description text using a theme color or a custom hex code to match your branding.

Positive Button

The Positive Button customization lets you create an engaging call-to-action for users to enable notifications. This button typically confirms or accepts the reminder, encouraging users to proceed.

  • Button Title: Enter a label (up to 30 characters) that encourages users to allow notifications.

  • Button Style: Choose from available button styles (filled, outlined, or text-only) to match your app’s visual theme.

Negative Button

The Negative Button provides users with an option to decline or dismiss the Push Permission Reminder.

  • Button Title: Set a clear label (up to 30 characters) such as “Don’t Allow” or “Maybe Later.”

  • Button Style: Select from the available styles to visually differentiate it from the positive button while maintaining consistency with the app theme.
