Inactivity Push Notifications allow you to re-engage inactive app users by sending personalized reminders automatically after they’ve been inactive for a specific period.
At the top of the screen, you’ll see a field labeled Enter Campaign Name. Enter a name that describes your campaign, such as “Welcome Back Campaign”
Click Add + under Create Sequence to set up notifications at different intervals, such as:
Day 1: First notification.
Day 5: Follow-up.
Day 7: Final reminder.
You can add as many sequences as needed by repeating this step.
For each sequence, you need to enter following information. The Preview section on the right side of the screen shows how your notification will look on a mobile device.
Enter a short, catchy title for your notification (maximum 60 characters).
Write the main message you want users to see (maximum 200 characters).
Upload an image to make your notification more engaging. Supported formats: JPEG, JPG, or PNG (max size: 1 MB). Recommended size is 1:1 ratio with 500 KB.
Add a URL or app page link where the user will be directed when they click the notification.
If your app serves users in multiple languages, you can create language-specific notifications. For example, users with Arabic as their device language will receive the Arabic version of your notification. If no localized version matches, the system defaults to English.
Click the Add Language button.
Choose a language (e.g., Arabic).
Enter the push title, message, image, and action for that language.
You can also use the Copy & Translate from English
button to quickly translate the English message to your selected language.
Choose if you want to send notification to either Androir or iOS or both. You can select one or both platforms based on your audience.
Review your notification using the live preview on the right-hand side of the screen. Make sure everything looks good, and click Save to finalize your campaign.
