# Delete Screen

Remove a screen from your app, or hide it without losing the work.

Hover over a screen in the list and click the **…** menu. It offers **Hide** and **Delete**.

## Hide a screen

**Hide** takes a screen out of the tab bar but keeps everything about it — its URL, icon, navigation bar and settings. Hidden screens stay in your list with a crossed-out eye beside them, and **Unhide** puts them back.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Hide is almost always the better choice.** A seasonal screen, a page not ready to launch, or a screen you are unsure about can be hidden and restored in one click. Deleting cannot be undone.
{% endhint %}

## Delete a screen

**Delete** removes the screen and its settings. Twinr asks you to confirm:

> Are you sure you want to delete this screen? This action can't be undone.

Everything configured on that screen goes with it — the navigation bar buttons, the CSS and scripts, the URL handling rules. If it was a native screen, the elements you built are deleted too.

{% hint style="danger" %}
There is no undo. Rebuilding a screen means doing the whole configuration again, so hide it first if there is any doubt.
{% endhint %}

## Common Questions

<details>

<summary>What happens to customers who had the app open?</summary>

The screen disappears for them on their next app update. Deleting here changes your draft; it reaches customers when you publish.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I delete the Login screen?</summary>

No. Login is managed separately and shows a padlock rather than a menu. Turn it off in its own settings instead.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I deleted the wrong screen.</summary>

It cannot be restored. Add a new screen and configure it again — and use **Hide** next time.
