# Native Notification Screen

Opens the in-app notification inbox, with an unread count.

This button opens your app's notification inbox — a native screen listing the push notifications a customer has received — and shows a dot with the number they have not yet read.

It gives your push notifications somewhere to live. A notification that arrives while the phone is in a pocket is normally gone for good; with an inbox, it is still there when the customer next opens the app.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Native Notification Screen** must be enabled before you can use this button. See [Native Notification Screen](/push/native-notification-screen.md).
{% endhint %}

## Add one

On the screen's **Navigation bar** tab, click **+ Add**, then choose **Native Notification Screen**.

| **Visibility → User**                     | **All**, logged-in only, or logged-out only.                                          |
| **Analytics → Enable Firebase Analytics** | Premium. Records an event on each tap. |

Click **Add**, then **Save as draft**.

Unlike the [Cart](/navigation-bar-buttons/cart-button.md) button, there is no identifier to find. The count comes from the notifications Twinr has delivered, not from your website.

## Requirements

* A **Premium** plan.
* A recent app version. If yours is older, the portal offers to create a new version.
* The Native Notification Screen integration, enabled.

{% hint style="info" %}
One of these is usually enough, on whichever screen customers return to most — typically Home or Account. An inbox button on all six screens is six chances to tap the same list.
{% endhint %}
